The Teacher Training Hub

Learn. Teach. Serve. Grow — in the Northern Territory.

The NT Christian Schools Teacher Training Hub exists to grow confident, capable, and Christ‑centred teachers who are ready to make a meaningful difference in classrooms and communities across the Northern Territory.

Teaching in the NT is not just a career pathway — it is an opportunity for formation, service, and adventure. From 2024, NT Christian Schools has partnered with Alphacrucis University College to provide a school-embedded ITE pathway experience in our six Territory schools. Our Teacher Training Hub brings together schools, universities, mentors, and early career teachers in a shared commitment to developing educators who teach with excellence, purpose, and faith.

Why Train with NT Christian Schools?

NT Christian Schools is a network of Christian schools across urban, regional, and remote contexts. We believe that the best teachers are formed through authentic classroom experience, intentional mentoring, and strong professional and spiritual support.

Teaching in the Northern Territory offers a professional experience unlike anywhere else in Australia.

  • Formation as a Christian educator
  • Diverse classrooms and communities
  • Early responsibility with strong support
  • Opportunities to teach across cultures and contexts
  • A close‑knit professional learning community

Our teachers are supported to grow not only in curriculum knowledge and pedagogy, but also in understanding what it means to teach Christianly — integrating faith, learning, and service in everyday practice.
